Toy Drives
Each holiday season, schools, businesses, and community organizations hold toy drives to assist CAP with providing children and their families with gifts for the Holiday season.Toys that are gathered have are at least a $15 value. Schools, businesses, organizations and individuals wishing to hold to a toy drive may deliver their toys between December 1st – 17th, 2012 from 8:00am – 5:00pm . The drop-off location is the Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency’s administrative office located at: 712 Canterbury Rd S, Shakopee, MN 55379. Please do not gift wrap the toys that you donate.
Volunteers are needed during the gift drop-off/pick-up to help accept, sort and distribute gift packages. Interested persons are asked to call the Hope For The Holidays hotline at 952-402-9871.
Volunteers are also needed during the Toy Distribution time. Toy Distribution dates and times are as follows:
December 18th from 7:45am – 11:45 am and/or 12:45pm – 5:15pm
December 19th from 7:45am – 11:45 am and/or 12:45pm – 5:15pm

Toy Distribution
If you are in need of assistance to provide toys for your children this holiday season the Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency can help. In order to utilize this service your child(ren) must be between the ages of 0 – 14 and you must live in either Scott or Carver Counties. You need to sign-up to participate in this program each holiday season.
Sign-up for the 2012 holiday season begins in December. Below are a list of dates you may visit our office located at: 712 Canterbury Rd S, Shakopee, MN 55379 to sign-up to participate in this year’s toy distribution. Phone calls are not accepted for sign-up. If you are not currently a client you must bring a photo ID for all the adults in your household and an ID for all the children in your household. (Acceptable forms of ID for your child include: birth certificate, social security card, or medial card.)
