Meals on Wheels
Is offered as part of the Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency’s Senior Nutrition program and offers weekday home delivery of meals to seniors who are home-bound. It is offered on a short or long-term basis through nine Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency congregate dining sites. This program is funded in part through the Federal Older Americans Act by a contract with the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging (MAAA).
Am I eligible?
Adults age 60+ are invited to participate in the Meals on Wheels program. Participation is not based on income. A donation of $3.75 per meal is suggested but no one is turned away based on inability to pay.
How do I apply?
You will need to contact one of the nine senior dining locations that offers the Meals on Wheels program and fill out an application. For a list of our senior dining locations by county please visit our Senior Nutrition program page.
